GAMBIT MAGNUM® sealing sheet
General properties and applications
The GAMBIT MAGNUM sealing sheet is a composite of specially selected fibres, fillers and rubber. The use of high-performance aramid and mineral fibres, nano-fillers and a unique rubber composition (forming the discontinuous phase), as well as a specific cross-linking process, give the structure a different character from standard fibre-elastomer sheets.
Seals made from this sheet retain greater elasticity at elevated temperatures and offer increased resistance to media compared to standard sealing sheets, which translates into a longer service life.
Material
The GAMBIT MAGNUM gasket sheet is manufactured using:
- KEVLAR® aramid fibres
- mineral fibres
- fillers / nanofillers
The components are bound together by an HNBR rubber-based binder.
