AF-1000® sealing sheet
Application
A sealing sheet designed for use in high-temperature flanged joints, where there are large pressure fluctuations and high flow rates of the medium within the system.
It is characterised by high mechanical strength. It is used in the automotive industry.
It is not recommended for use with acids or alkalis. When used with steam, care must be taken to ensure that suitable mounting clamps are used.

Material
The GAMBIT AF-1000 sealing sheet is made from:
- KEVLAR® aramid fibres
- mineral fibres
- fillers
These components are bound together by an NBR rubber-based binder. The sheet is additionally reinforced with galvanised steel mesh, which increases its mechanical strength and operational stability.
