Help with choosing
Victor Reinz Xtreme Plus 1.2 mm Gasket Sheet – 250×750 mm Sheet for Cutting Gaskets
The Victor Reinz Xtreme Plus gasket-cutting sheet (1.2 mm, 250×750 mm) is a gasket material trusted by workshops, service centers, and DIY enthusiasts. It is an asbestos-free mica material on a steel core, offering consistent quality from the manufacturer. Victor Reinz high-temperature gasket material: a stainless steel core with burrs, coated on both sides with a fiber-reinforced mica layer. Designed for sealing exhaust systems, turbochargers, and EGR systems operating at temperatures up to 950°C.
At ADITECH, we cut the 250×750 mm sheet from genuine Victor Reinz material (manufacturer’s 500 mm wide roll). A versatile size for several gaskets at once or a single larger one—e.g., for a manifold, valve cover, or pipe flange. It fits in a workshop drawer.
Why choose the Xtreme Plus sheet?
- Temperature resistance: up to 950°C (continuous operation)
- Resistance to media: exhaust gases, oils, fuels, coolant
- Works well as a material for exhaust gaskets—manifold, turbo, and EGR gaskets
- Asbestos-free material—safe to handle and install
- Easy to cut: with a utility knife, scissors, a die cutter, on a plotter, or with a cutting machine
- Genuine Victor Reinz material, well-known and widely used in industry and the automotive sector
What is the Xtreme Plus gasket sheet used for?
Typical applications:
- gaskets for exhaust systems of internal combustion engines (trucks, marine engines, and gas engines)
- cylinder head–exhaust manifold gaskets
- turbocharger gaskets
- EGR valve gaskets
- burner connections
- High-temperature heat exchangers
- gas turbines

How do you cut a gasket from a gasket sheet?
- Trace the shape of the old gasket or flange directly onto the sheet.
- Cut along the outline with a sharp knife, scissors, or a die cutter—for large batches, a plotter is best.
- Drill the screw holes with a punch or hole saw, and gently smooth the edges.
- When installing, tighten the screws evenly, in a crisscross pattern, using the torque recommended for the specific connection.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the Xtreme Plus panel contain asbestos?
No. Victor Reinz Xtreme Plus is an asbestos-free material that complies with applicable regulations.
What thickness of gasket sheet should I choose?
Thinner gaskets (0.3–1 mm) work well on smooth, rigid surfaces, while thicker ones (1.5–4 mm) better fill in unevenness and compensate for flange deformation. The easiest way is to measure your old gasket.
Need a different size or thickness?
We offer additional sizes and thicknesses of this material—and if you can’t find the size you need, write to us, and we’ll check if we can cut it to size.
The specified limit values (temperature, pressure) do not occur simultaneously and are for reference only. The selection of material for a specific application should be verified against the manufacturer’s technical data sheet.
