Victor Reinz REINZOLOID FS 53 1 mm gasket sheet – 250×1000 mm sheet for cutting gaskets
Victor Reinz REINZOLOID FS 53, 1 mm thick, is an asbestos-free cellulose-based material designed for cutting flat gaskets—from small washers to large flange gaskets. Available in this size: 250×1000 mm. An economical, impregnated Victor Reinz sealing material based on cellulose fibers. Compressible and conforming well to surfaces, resistant to oils and fuels—for low-temperature gaskets.
At ADITECH, we cut the 250×1000 mm sheet from genuine Victor Reinz material (manufacturer’s roll, 1000 mm wide). A versatile size for several gaskets at once or a single larger one—e.g., for a manifold, valve cover, or pipe flange. It fits in a workshop drawer.
Why choose the REINZOLOID FS 53 sheet?
- Temperature resistance: up to 120°C (continuous operation; not recommended for steam or dry heat)
- Maximum pressure: 10 bar
- Resistance to media: oils, fuels, water, mixtures of water with antifreeze and corrosion inhibitors
- Asbestos-free material—safe to process and install
- Easy to cut: with a utility knife, scissors, a die cutter, on a plotter, or with a cutting machine
- Original Victor Reinz material, well-known and widely used in industry and the automotive sector
What is the REINZOLOID FS 53 gasket sheet used for?
Typical applications:
- gearbox gaskets
- carburetor gaskets
- fuel and oil pump gaskets
- axle and differential gaskets
- covers and flanges in contact with oil and fuel

How do you cut a gasket from a gasket sheet?
- Trace the shape of the old gasket or flange directly onto the sheet.
- Cut along the outline with a sharp knife, scissors, or a die cutter—for large batches, a plotter is best.
- Drill the screw holes with a punch or hole saw, and gently smooth the edges.
- When installing, tighten the screws evenly, in a crisscross pattern, using the torque recommended for the specific connection.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the REINZOLOID FS 53 sheet contain asbestos?
No. Victor Reinz REINZOLOID FS 53 is an asbestos-free material that complies with applicable regulations.
What thickness of gasket sheet should I choose?
Thinner sheets (0.3–1 mm) work well on smooth, rigid surfaces, while thicker ones (1.5–4 mm) better fill in unevenness and compensate for flange deformation. The easiest way is to measure your old gasket.
Need a different size or thickness?
We offer additional sizes and thicknesses of this material—and if you can’t find the size you need, write to us, and we’ll check if we can cut it to size.
The specified limit values (temperature, pressure) do not occur simultaneously and are for reference only. The selection of material for a specific application should be verified against the manufacturer’s technical data sheet.
