J008 Air bleed valve, oil separator for BMW E46 320D 136KM

The adapter serves as a replacement for the stock oil breather (oil separator) in BMW 3.0D, 2.5D, and 2.0D engines from the M57, M57N, M57N2, M47, M47N, and M47N2 series.

It eliminates typical problems associated with the factory-installed oil breather in these engines. Symptoms of a faulty oil breather include, among others, oil leaks, increased oil consumption, excessive smoke from the exhaust system, unstable engine speed, difficulty starting the engine, and turbocharger issues. Additionally, high fuel consumption, the presence of oil in the intake system, and oil being drawn into the oil filler cap may occur.

Using the adapter also prevents contamination in the intake system, as vapors from the crankcase do not enter the intake directly. This helps prevent contamination of system components such as the intercooler, intake hoses, throttle body, and intake manifold.

The adapter cap is made of high-quality, thick, certified stainless steel. It features a port that allows for connecting an external oil catch tank or attaching a loose hose.
