Gambit MAGNUM 1 mm gasket sheet – 750×1500 mm sheet for cutting gaskets

Gambit MAGNUM, 1 mm thick, is an asbestos-free aramid sheet (commonly known as Klingerite) designed for cutting flat gaskets—from small washers to large flange gaskets. Available in this size: 750×1500 mm. A new-generation sheet based on HNBR rubber with nanofillers—it retains its elasticity longer at high temperatures and withstands aggressive media better, which extends the service life of the seal.

At ADITECH, we cut the 750×1500 mm sheet from original Gambit material (manufacturer’s sheet size: 1500×1500 mm). A large sheet suitable for multiple gaskets or large flange components—a sensible compromise between a full sheet and a small piece of material.

Why choose the MAGNUM sheet?

  • Temperature resistance: up to 370°C (continuous operation from -40°C; up to 420°C for short periods; up to 260°C in steam)
  • Maximum pressure / load: 10 MPa
  • Media resistance: water, steam, fuels, oils
  • Asbestos-free material—safe to process and install
  • Easy to cut: with a utility knife, scissors, a die cutter, on a plotter, or with a cutting machine
  • Original Gambit material, well-known and widely used in industry and the automotive sector

What is the MAGNUM gasket sheet used for?

Typical applications:

  • seals operating for long periods at high temperatures
  • industrial systems
  • fuel and oil systems

How do you cut a gasket from a gasket sheet?

  • Trace the shape of the old gasket or flange directly onto the sheet.
  • Cut along the outline with a sharp knife, scissors, or a die cutter—for large batches, a plotter is best.
  • Drill the screw holes with a punch or hole saw, and gently smooth the edges.
  • When installing, tighten the screws evenly, in a crisscross pattern, using the torque recommended for the specific connection.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the MAGNUM panel contain asbestos?

No. Gambit MAGNUM is an asbestos-free material that complies with applicable regulations.

What thickness of sealing sheet should I choose?

Thinner sheets (0.3–1 mm) work well on smooth, rigid surfaces, while thicker ones (1.5–4 mm) better fill in unevenness and compensate for flange deformation. The easiest way is to measure your old gasket.

Need a different size or thickness?

We offer additional sizes and thicknesses of this material—and if you can’t find the size you need, write to us, and we’ll check if we can cut it to size.

The specified limit values (temperature, pressure) do not occur simultaneously and are for reference only. The selection of material for a specific application should be verified against the manufacturer’s technical data sheet.
