Benefits of installing an EGR plug

• Reduced contaminants in the intake—no backflow of exhaust gases means a cleaner intake manifold, less carbon buildup, and fewer deposits.
• More stable engine operation – less idle speed fluctuation, better throttle response.
• Improved performance and dynamics – the absence of hot exhaust gases in the intake improves fuel mixture quality and combustion efficiency.
• Lower risk of EGR malfunctions—elimination of the source of failure (stuck valve, damaged actuator, controller errors).
• Less exhaust smoke—in many cases, combustion becomes more complete.
• Extended engine oil life – less soot entering the oil via blow-by.
• Possible reduction in fuel consumption—in some engines.
• Lower intake temperatures—which can have a beneficial effect on the turbocharger and intercooler.

• all plugs undergo specialized vibratory finishing. This process removes sharp edges and smooths the surface
• Note: Plugging the valve may cause a warning light to illuminate on the dashboard. In this case, the EGR valve must be deactivated via the vehicle’s software.
