Gambit AF-200 G 0.5 mm sealing sheet – 250×500 mm sheet for cutting gaskets

Are you looking for a proven sealing material from which you can cut your own flat gaskets to size? Gambit AF-200 G 0.5 mm is an asbestos-free aramid sheet (commonly known as Klingerite) in a convenient 250×500 mm size. This flexible, high-performance sheet contains graphite and is particularly recommended for use with steam.

At ADITECH, we cut the 250×500 mm sheet from genuine Gambit material (manufacturer’s sheet size: 1500×1500 mm). This small sheet is ideal for individual gaskets: covers, pumps, thermostats, flanges, and connections. You buy exactly as much material as you need—without overpaying for an entire sheet.

Why choose the AF-200 G sheet?

  • Temperature resistance: up to 320°C (continuous operation from -40°C; up to 380°C for short periods; up to 250°C in steam)
  • Maximum pressure: 8 MPa
  • Media resistance: steam, water, fuels, oils
  • Asbestos-free material—safe to process and install
  • Easy to cut: with a utility knife, scissors, a die cutter, on a plotter, or with a cutting machine
  • Original Gambit material, well-known and widely used in industry and the automotive sector

What is the AF-200 G gasket sheet used for?

Typical applications:

  • steam systems
  • water systems

  • Trace the shape of the old gasket or flange directly onto the sheet.
  • Cut along the outline with a sharp knife, scissors, or a die cutter—for large batches, a plotter is best.
  • Drill the screw holes with a punch or hole saw, and gently smooth the edges.
  • When installing, tighten the screws evenly, in a crisscross pattern, using the torque recommended for the specific connection.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the AF-200 G panel contain asbestos?

No. Gambit AF-200 G is an asbestos-free material that complies with applicable regulations.

What thickness of gasket sheet should I choose?

Thinner sheets (0.3–1 mm) work well on smooth, rigid surfaces, while thicker ones (1.5–4 mm) better fill in unevenness and compensate for flange deformation. The easiest way is to measure your old gasket.

Need a different size or thickness?

We offer additional sizes and thicknesses of this material—and if you can’t find the size you need, write to us, and we’ll check if we can cut it to size.

The specified limit values (temperature, pressure) do not occur simultaneously and are for reference only. The selection of material for a specific application should be verified against the manufacturer’s technical data sheet.
