Help with choosing
Gambit AF-153 0.5 mm gasket sheet – 750×750 mm sheet for cutting gaskets
Are you looking for a proven sealing material from which you can cut flat gaskets to size yourself? Gambit AF-153 0.5 mm is an asbestos-free fiber-elastomer sheet (commonly known as Klingerite) in a convenient 750×750 mm size. This low-parameter sheet, made from natural fibers, is primarily intended for water supply and sewer systems.
At ADITECH, we cut the 750×750 mm sheet from original Gambit material (manufacturer’s sheet size: 1500×1500 mm). This large sheet is ideal for multiple gaskets or large flange components—a sensible compromise between a full sheet and a small piece of material.
Why choose the AF-153 sheet?
- Temperature resistance: up to 155°C (continuous operation from -30°C; up to 180°C for short periods; up to 130°C in steam)
- Maximum pressure / load: 4 MPa
- Media resistance: drinking water, wastewater
- Asbestos-free material—safe to process and install
- Easy to cut: with a utility knife, scissors, a die cutter, on a plotter, or with a cutting machine
- Original Gambit material, well-known and widely used in industry and the automotive sector
What is the AF-153 gasket sheet used for?
Typical applications:
- water supply systems
- sewer systems

How do you cut a gasket from a gasket sheet?
- Trace the shape of the old gasket or flange directly onto the sheet.
- Cut along the outline with a sharp knife, scissors, or a die cutter—for large batches, a plotter is best.
- Drill the screw holes with a punch or hole saw, and gently smooth the edges.
- When installing, tighten the screws evenly, in a crisscross pattern, using the torque recommended for the specific connection.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the AF-153 panel contain asbestos?
No. Gambit AF-153 is an asbestos-free material that complies with applicable regulations.
What thickness of sealing sheet should I choose?
Thinner sheets (0.3–1 mm) work well on smooth, rigid surfaces, while thicker ones (1.5–4 mm) better fill in unevenness and compensate for flange deformation. The easiest way is to measure your old gasket.
Need a different size or thickness?
We offer additional sizes and thicknesses of this material—and if you can’t find the size you need, write to us, and we’ll check if we can cut it to size.
The specified limit values (temperature, pressure) do not occur simultaneously and are for reference only. The selection of material for a specific application should be verified against the manufacturer’s technical data sheet.
