GAMBIT MAGNUM® Sealing Sheet
General Properties and Applications
The GAMBIT MAGNUM sealing plate is a composite of specially selected fibers, fillers, and rubber. The use of high-performance aramid and mineral fibers, nanofillers, and a unique rubber composition (forming the discontinuous phase), as well as a specific cross-linking method, give the structure distinct characteristics compared to standard fiber-–elastomeric gasket sheets.
Seals made from this sheet retain greater flexibility at elevated temperatures and offer increased resistance to media compared to standard sealing sheets, which translates into a longer service life.
Material
The GAMBIT MAGNUM gasket sheet is made from:
- KEVLAR® aramid fibers
- mineral fibers
- fillers / nanofillers
The components are bound together with an HNBR rubber-based binder.
